Below are tuition aid programs for eligible participants in workforce programs and employees: 

• WorkNowNH: Provides free or reduced-cost training and job placement support to help unemployed or underemployed New Hampshire residents quickly gain skills for in-demand careers. 
• Workforce Innovation Opportunity Act (WIOA): Offers funding for eligible adults and dislocated workers to pay for approved training programs that lead directly to employment in high-demand fields. 
• My Turn: Supports young adults and youth facing barriers to employment with personalized career coaching, training funds, and connections to paid work experiences. 
• Rural Health Career Scholarships: Helps students in rural areas afford education and training in health care fields to address local workforce shortages and expand access to care. 
• NH Charitable Foundation: Provides scholarships and grants to help New Hampshire residents pay for workforce training, certificate programs, or continuing education. 
• Granite Edvance: Offers flexible financial aid, advising, and grants to help students bridge funding gaps and complete workforce-focused education and training. 
• Apprenticeships and employer-based tuition assistance: Allow students to earn while they learn by combining paid on-the-job training with free or subsidized coursework funded by employers. 

WorkInvestNH provides New Hampshire employers with state-funded grants that reimburse up to 50% of the cost of approved employee training programs to help businesses upskill new hires or current workers to stay competitive and grow their workforce.  

This program has been referred to as the state’s “best kept workforce development secret.”
