Concerns and Complaints
Grievance/Complaint Process – Lakes Region Community College strives to resolve student grievances and complaints in an equitable, orderly, and just manner. Students have the right to lodge a complaint when they believe there has been a violation, misinterpretation, or misapplication of an existing college policy. This would include discrimination on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, age, sex, disability, gender identity, and expression, genetic information, veteran status, sexual orientation, or marital status. To file such a complaint, please see information in the Notice of Discrimination in the LRCC Student Handbook.
Complaints concerning such grades shall be resolved following the Appeal of a Grade Policy as outlined in the LRCC Academic Catalog.
Complaints concerning attendance policies and matters of a purely academic nature shall be adjudicated through the office of the Vice President of Academic and Student Affairs.
Allegations of sexual harassment should be brought to the Title IX Coordinator, Laura LeMien at (603) 366-5211 for counseling, advice or to submit a complaint.
