UPDATED July 1, 2021
As of July 1, LRCC returned to more normalized operations. Over the past year, the #LRCCFamily was challenged in ways that required flexibility, and brought about innovation in all to think of new ways to operate and continue delivering a high-quality education to our students. The LRCC Leadership Team is proud of the way faculty, staff, and students have responded to these challenges.
The changes you should expect to see include: elimination of the screening requirement and temperature checks to get onto campus; a move to a mask-optional protocol, except in special circumstances where mask-wearing may be deemed necessary; allowing larger outside groups onto campus, and suspension of remote work with most employees on campus five days a week.
As we look to the Fall Semester, the LRCC Leadership Team anticipates normalized operations. They will continue working on adaptations to the Reopening Plan, which will be released in the coming weeks. Please note this could change should the number of Covid-19 cases rise. Status updates about NH Community College campuses’ preparedness related to COVID-19 can be found at this link: https://www.ccsnh.edu/covid-19/.
It is important to continue to be vigilant. While vaccines are not required, the LRCC Leadership Team strongly urges the #LRCCFamily to consider vaccination if you have not already been vaccinated. Information about scheduling Covid-19 vaccines is available from www.vaccines.nh.gov or by calling 211.
LRCC is optimistic about the upcoming academic year and is looking forward to seeing students return to campus! We encourage returning students to review tour upcoming course schedules, register for classes as soon as possible and to visit the Remote Learning Resources page for information about accessing college resources. We also urge newly accepted students to register for Orientation and to those new to LRCC to consider attending an Express Admissions Wednesday.
