Social Work Program Overview
The Associate in Social Work program at LRCC equips students with the knowledge and skills for entry-level positions in the social services field. By combining social work theories with hands-on applications, students will explore current service models, systemic challenges, and the barriers that impact individuals and communities. The curriculum addresses key social issues such as homelessness, substance use, mental health, and the influence of politics on services, ensuring that students receive a relevant and up-to-date education.
