I chose LRCC because it gave me the chance to stay close to home and pursue an affordable education. Right from the time I first enrolled, I knew my goal was to eventually earn a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education along with a NH teacher certification.
I selected the Liberal Arts program at LRCC because it offered the strong academic foundation that I needed to complete my associate degree and seamlessly transfer to Plymouth State University. I was able to complete many of my core requirements at LRCC, which meant that once I transferred to Plymouth State, I could focus more deeply on the specialized courses within my major. The strong start I received at LRCC helped me reach my goal of receiving my bachelor’s degree and becoming a certified teacher, in addition to earning a master’s degree in vision studies.
My instructors at LRCC played a huge role in my success. Their support and encouragement helped me stay motivated and confident, and they provided the solid academic grounding I needed to pursue my long‑term career goals.
To me, the greatest benefit of LRCC is its supportive learning environment, which accommodates students of all ages and at all stages of their educational journeys. Not only am I a graduate of LRCC, I am also a proud member of the adjunct faculty.
I wholeheartedly recommend beginning your educational journey at a community college like LRCC. It’s a smart financial decision and provides an excellent head start and a smooth pathway to a four‑year college — or anywhere else you’d like to go.
