Technical Physics

This course is an introduction to the principles and concepts of physics. Math review, vectors, motion, Newton’s laws, work, power, energy, friction, equilibrium, torque, concurrent forces, mechanical advantage, simple machines, and the properties of matter are covered. (Prerequisite: MATH129L or MATH137L or MATH211L with a C or better or competence as demonstrated on math placement exam). This course is an introduction to the principles and concepts of physics.
