Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society
The purpose of Phi theta Kappa shall be to recognize and encourage Scholarship among two year college students. To achieve this purpose, Phi Theta Kappa shall provide opportunity for development of leadership and service, for an intellectual climate for exchange of ideas and ideals, for lively fellowship for scholars, and for stimulation of interest in continuing academic excellence.
Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society‘s purpose is to recognize and encourage academic achievement of two year colleges.
Each semester, eligible students receive a letter of invitation from Phi Theta Kappa. To be eligible, you must keep a GPA of 3.5 or above and have completed 12 credit hours of coursework. There is a one -time fee to join. An information session is held for those interested in joining followed at a later date by an induction ceremony.
