We’re so excited to be part of your educational path! If you’ve never done this before – that’s OK, we’re here to help!  Just follow these steps to the first day of class!

  1. Complete an Application Online
  2. High school transcripts are not required, but you are encouraged to submit transcripts for placement.  If you have taken math in the past year and wish to have your transcript evaluated for placement, rather than taking a placement exam, please have your high school transcript sent to:

  1. Apply for Financial Aid.
  2. Complete English and Math placement Assessments.
    • In order to be sure you’re in the right level of English and math courses, you will need to complete placement testing. This can be done remotely, using the instructions provided below.
    • If you’re not sure whether you need to Contact the One-Stop to schedule an appointment (603) 524-3207 or lrccinfo@ccsnh.edu.

      English

      Complete a proctored essay, responding to one of three questions.  (English Placement Instructions) English placement may be waived for students who have taken the SAT within the last two years – please send a screenshot of your scores to lrccinfo@ccsnh.edu for evaluation. English placement may be waived for students who transfer in college-level English course(s). Contact the One-Stop to schedule an appointment (603) 524-3207 or lrccinfo@ccsnh.edu.

      Math

      Take the ALEKS PPL assessment to determine placement in mathematics.  (Quick Guide to Access ALEKS Math Placement) Math placement may be waived for students who transfer in college-level mathematics course(s). Contact the One-Stop to schedule an appointment (603) 524-3207 or lrccinfo@ccsnh.edu.

  3. Sign up for an Orientation Session
  4. Meet with an advisor and schedule your classes
  5. Purchase or Rent Textbooks from the LRCC Bookstore
  6. Get Connected with Campus Clubs and Support Services.
  7. Pay Your Bill.
  8. Go to Class!
