Graduation Information
Lakes Region Community College is excited to announce we will celebrate graduation at Bank of New Hampshire Pavilion on Saturday, May 11, 2024 at 11:00am.
Intent to Graduate
Students planning on graduating are requested to submit an Intent to Graduate by the deadlines below:
Spring 2024 (degree awarded May 11, 2024) March 29, 2024
Summer 2024 (degree awarded August 30, 2024) April 21, 2024
Students completing degree requirements in December and August are welcome to participate in graduation. August 2024 graduates are only eligible to be awarded and participate in graduation if they have eight credits or less to complete degree requirements.
Senior Breakfast
The student senate will hold the senior breakfast at 8:30am for all graduating seniors. We will depart for rehearsal at Bank of NH Pavilion at 9:30.
Commencement Rehearsal
Rehearsal will be held at Bank of New Hampshire Pavilion on Friday, May 10th at 10:00am, and is mandatory for all graduates, faculty and staff participating in commencement.
Commencement
Commencement is May 11thth at 11:00am. Students and guests can start to arrive and enter the pavilion at 10:00am. Commencement begins promptly at 11:00am and students should be dressed in their cap and gown by 10:30am. This facility is outside, so please dress accordingly. Guests are not limited and seating is on a first come, first serve basis.
Caps and Gowns
Graduates will be able to pick up your caps and gowns in the Administration Suite, Turner 102 beginning Monday, April 29th from 8:00am to 4:00pm.
High Honors/Honors Designation
Gold tassels are awarded to students completing all requirements with a cumulative grade point average of 3.30 to 3.74. Gold tassels are provided to students at check-in on the day of commencement. During commencement, gold cords will be awarded to high honor students completing all requirements with a cumulative grade point average of 3.75 to 4.0. Designation of high honors/honors for summer graduates are confirmed in August, once all requirements have been completed.
