Commencement Information & Dates to Remember
Saturday, May 17, 2008, 11:00 a.m.
Commencement for the Class of 2008 will be held at Meadowbrook Musical Arts Center in Gilford, New Hampshire, Saturday, May 17th, at 11:00 a.m.
Students are requested to be at Meadowbrook by 10:15 a.m., dressed in caps, gowns, and hoods.
- Light refreshments will be served immediately following the ceremony.
- Meadowbrook is an outside facility, please dress according to weather conditions
Commencement Rehearsal Friday, May 16, 2008
The rehearsal is for all graduates, faculty, and staff members participating in the commencement processional. PARTICIPATION AT THE GRADUATION REHEARSAL IS MANDATORY.

Also at this time, gold tassels will be awarded to students with a cumulative grade point average of 3.30 to 4.0. The tassels should be draped over the left front of the cap, and the cap should be worn so that the mortarboard is level. The crown of the cap should be pulled down over the forehead to a point approximately 1" above the eyebrows.
Caps, Gowns, and Hoods will be available for pick up the week of May 7th at the Campus Bookstore. If you have not ordered your cap and gown, please contact Debbie at the Campus Bookstore at 524-0697. All orders must be placed as soon as possible. Bookstore hours for pickup are:

PLEASE NOTE:
The souvenir caps and gowns are yours to keep; however, the blue and gold hoods are the property of the College and must be returned immediately following commencement to the designated area.
The cost of a hood is $60.00 if you wish to purchase one.
If you fail to return your hood following the ceremony your account
will be assessed $60.00.
Honor Society Stoles
Phi Theta Kappa members who have met the Honor Society GPA requirements may pick up their stoles at rehearsal on Friday, May 18 or contact Randi Provencal at 524-3207 Ext 799 to make other arrangements. A $16.00 deposit for the stole must be paid at the time of pick up. Please bring exact amount of cash or a check made payable to: Lakes Region Community College. This deposit will be refunded when you return your stole to the Advisor after commencement. If you wish to keep the stole you may do so at a cost of $16.00.

IF YOU ARE NOT GOING TO COMPLETE YOUR DEGREE REQUIREMENTS, YOU MUST NOTIFY THE REGISTRAR'S OFFICE AND WITHDRAW YOUR INTENT TO GRADUATE TO AVOID THE $75.00 GRADUATION FEE.
