Food for Thought Cafe Opening for the Semester

 

Photo:  New Hampshire Community Technical College Laconia Culinary Arts Professor, Patrick Hall (Concord-right), and new Restaurant Management student, Jim Shea (Hooksett-left), present one of the house specialties, Chicken Marsala, in the College’s Food for Thought Café located at the historic Belmont Mill.  The Food for Thought Café, Lakes Region CC’s student-run gourmet restaurant, will be opening for the semester on Tuesday, September 25.  Hours throughout the semester will be 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. , Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.  Please call 267-1155 for reservations.  The public is welcome. 

“This fall’s Food for Thought Café opening celebrates the first year of the College’s new Culinary Arts program,” says Hall, the Program Coordinator.  “There is a full enrollment with lots of great students.  I look forward to a prosperous first year!”

Lakes Region CC is experiencing a 14% growth as compared to the fall of 2006 bringing student numbers to 1083 from 948 one year ago.
