First LRMC General Meeting LRMC Speaker, Judge Boyle
Lakes Region Management Club (LRMC) officers announce the Club’s first General Meeting of the 2007-2008 year. The Meeting will be held at Willow ’s Steak & Spirits, Weirs Beach , on Thursday, September 27, starting at 5:30 p.m. with the dinner being served at 6:30 p.m.
The featured speaker will be the Honorable Gerard Boyle ( Plymouth ), Justice of the Concord District Court. Judge Boyle will be speaking on “Employer Support for the National Guard and Reserve.” Serving as Chairman of the Secretary of Defense’s New Hampshire Committee on Employer Support, Judge Boyle is well qualified to speak on the topic.
“When Judge Boyle retired as a Marine Colonel in 2002 after 31 years in the Marines, assisting employers and Service members to understand the law relating to employment and reemployment was extremely important to him,” says LRMC Vice President, Thomas Crossley (Laconia), Owner of Winsor Business Services, Laconia. “Judge Boyle will help to clarify the employment laws for Lakes Region businesses and their employees.”
Boyle is a graduate of the Carroll School of Management at Boston College and holds a Master of Public Administration Degree and a Doctor of Jurisprudence from Suffolk University . In 1999 Judge Boyle was awarded the Vicky Bunnell Award, the New Hampshire Bar Association’s highest award for community service.
