“College personnel expect Running Start numbers to be up significantly this year based upon expressed interest and tremendous scholarship opportunities now available throughout the State,” says Plyler, Coordinator of the College’s Running Start Program since its inception in 1999. “ Gary , I am sure, will do an excellent job in developing Running Start opportunities throughout WRHS.”
Running Start is an initiative whereby high school students are able to earn college credits while at the same time meeting their secondary school requirements. Thousands of high school students across the state are participating this year in Running Start through the Community College System of New Hampshire.
