Media Arts & Wicked Sick Films

The Media Arts program, along with Mike Place's production company, Wicked Sick Films, has put together another very funny short film for a national competition. The National Film Challenge is a world-wide filming competition. Teams have 72 hours to write, shoot and edit a short film. The competition starts at 7pm on a Friday and goes straight through to Monday. At 7pm the competition handlers emails a genre, a charter, a line of dialog and a prop to be used in the film. Everything else is up to the team.

Place, with the help of several friends and students including Todd J. LaJoie (class of 2011), came up with a very cute and epic tale. A story with a very important message for the youth of America.
