Lakes Region CC's Autumn on the Hill Delights Visitors

“Autumn on the Hill was a huge success,” says Seigle about the 200+ visitors attending.  “Visitors to the Hands-on Math Activities Table enjoyed the variation in approaches to stimulating mathematical thinking.  Visitors had fun doing the activities!”

Seigle has been invited to return for a second presentation this spring to the New England Association of Two-Year College Math Teachers Convention in Springfield, MA.  “Colleges across the nation are seeing greater success with math students when varied activities stimulate mathematical processing,” Seigle continues.  “Supplementing traditional teaching methods works.  Lakes Region CC is pleased to be on the forefront of this shift in college pedagogy.”
