Wirth is an experienced ECE instructor who holds a Bachelor's Degree in Education and certification in Elementary Education, Special Education, and Education for the Blind and Visually Impaired from D'Youville College. She also earned her Master of Science Degree in Reading from University of New York at Buffalo.

"Julie engaged LRCC students in an hour of interactive singing, movement, and rhythm activities," says Kibbee who met Wirth through an Early Childhood workshop at Southern New Hampshire University. "Research shows that music improves learning, brain development, and social skills development. My students were enthralled by Julie's workshop and are excited to put Ms. Wirth's practices to work."

For additional information about Music by Mar, call Wirth at 267-0385 or one may call Professor Kibbee about LRCC's ECE Program, 524-3207, ext. 6705.
