LRCC Graduate Continues on to Wentworth Institute of Technology

11/12/09 - Peter Brown (Boston) graduated from Lakes Region Community College (LRCC) in the General Motors Automotive Service Education Program (GM- ASEP) in May. Most LRCC GM-ASEP graduates continue working with their sponsoring dealerships. Brown chose something more. In September Brown transferred to one of Boston’s most prestigious engineering schools, Wentworth Institute of Technology (WIT), and loves it!

"At WIT I have one engineering class where I am building an air compressed motor," says Brown. "A lot of the concepts in class relate directly to what I learned in LRCC’s GM-ASEP program; the LRCC experience has made my engineering courses a lot easier."

"I’m also taking an electrical engineering class where, right now, we are doing parallel circuits and resistance," Brown continues. "The LRCC GM-ASEP program put me in the right mind set for thinking correctly about engineering principles."
