The golden slab on the plaque keyed at the top and bottom refers to the golden opportunities that abound for members.
"I was very proud to achieve such an honor,"says Privitera. "All of the hard work and effort really paid off. Without my professors, family and friends, I wouldn’t be where I am today."
In the future Privitera desires to go into business for herself. Privitera plans to continue her studies in Business Management and Accounting to do tax preparation for individuals and businesses. In the long term, she desires to own and operate a floral shop.
Phi Theta Kappa is the largest honor society in American higher education with more than 1.5 million members and 1,200 chapters located in 50 states, Canada, Germany, and Japan. PTK is the recognized honor society of two-year colleges worldwide.
