Photo: New Hampshire Community Technical College Laconia Computer Technologies Department Head, Sann Lavallee (Belmont- left), congratulates Computer Technologies honors graduate, Michael Stanford (Moultonborough- right), on his acceptance to the Business Administration Bachelor’s Degree Program at Southern New Hampshire University for the Spring Semester. Stanford has completed the Computer Technologies with an Accounting Concentration Degree at Lakes Region CC with an impressive 3.5 grade point average.

Stanford plans to complete the Business Administration/ Human Resource Management specialty at the Manchester Campus. Stanford will transfer his Lakes Region CC credits into SNHU and begin as a third- year HRM student.

Recently promoted to Department Manager of Plumbing and Electrical at Lowe’s of Gilford, Stanford has been with the company for over a year. He hopes to begin in the Human Resources Management Training Program with Lowe’s in the coming twelve months, eventually taking over HRM for 6 to 10 stores as Area Human Resources Manager.

“Sann is the one who actually got me thinking about transferring to SNHU,” says Stanford, Lavallee being a SNHU honors graduate herself before continuing for the doctorate. “I really respect Sann’s advice and input. She taught me a great deal about computer technologies in today’s workforce.”
