Hines is teaching Curriculum Development; Health, Nutrition and Safety; and Practicum I through LRCC’s Early Childhood Education Program, supervised by LRCC Professor, Janet Kibbee (Penacook – not pictured).
“Patti Hines is a great asset to LRCC’s Running Start Program,” says Miller, who began in his new position at LRCC earlier this year. “Growth of the Running Start Program at Lakes Region Community College has been phenomenal with almost 500 Lakes Region high school students taking college classes each year.”
Miller is a graduate of LRCC who continued for the Business Management Bachelor’s Degree at Kansas Wesleyan University in Salina, KS. Miller has chosen to return to LRCC as a result of the positive experiences he had when seeking the Associate Degree at the Laconia College.
Betsey Hines is in LRCC’s Restaurant Management Associate Degree Program. She graduated from Laconia High School in June 2006. When Hines graduates from LRCC, she plans to develop a wedding planning business with her sister in Arizona.
