Hartshorn is the top student in one of the College’s most strenuous academic programs. Graduating this month, Hartshorn anticipates employment with Central Vermont Public Service Company (CVPS), eventually becoming a Lineman with CVPS and being able to repair, maintain, and install high voltage electrical wiring for homes and businesses throughout Vermont.
“The EPCT Program is very rewarding,” says Hartshorn. “There is a huge variety of topics in the electrical field that keep my studies interesting. Professor Fletcher is an excellent teacher.”
“In Ian’s two years at LRCC, he has put an extraordinary effort into his education and has achieved a very high grade point average,” says Fletcher, a graduate of Laconia’s Electrical Construction Program himself who entered the profession before returning to teach. “Ian’s a standout student.”
