NHCTC Laconia's 2007 Nurse Pinning Ceremony

Photo:  New Hampshire Community Technical College Laconia Associate of Nursing Degree graduate, Lynn Durant (Northfield), proceeds to the College’s Nurse Pinning Ceremony held at Steele Hill Resort last night.  Twenty graduate nurses were honored for their academic achievements in the Nursing Program at NHCTC Laconia.

Durant is holding a Florence Nightingale candle which is the symbol of the nursing profession.  Each of the twenty graduates carried the Nightingale symbol in the Ceremony involving 160 students, faculty, family, and friends.

“The students could not have made it through without the support of family and friends,” says NHCTC Laconia Nursing Professor, Creedon Carothers (Goffstown-not pictured), who orchestrated the event.  “Students demonstrated extraordinary dedication of time and energy to successfully complete the Associate of Nursing Degree.”
