Wastewater Treatment Facility

Observing Judkins is New Hampshire Community Technical College Laconia Electrical Systems Installation and Maintenance Senior, Jonathan Hersey (Kingston-left).
Hersey and other NHCTC Laconia electrical students toured the Treatment Facility and studied the automated control systems that keep the Franklin Plant operating 24 hours a day/ 7 days a week, typically processing millions of gallons of wastewater per day from as far away as Center Harbor.
“Touring the WRBP facility exposed students to state-of-the-art automation systems,” says NHCTC Laconia Electrical Professor, Keith Fletcher (Belmont-not pictured). “Exposure to these systems prepares my students to work on the high tech automation systems in today’s marketplace.”
