Ballester Top LRMC Scholarship Recipient

Twenty individuals received $18,000 (eighteen thousand dollars) to be used toward their Lakes Region Community College (LRCC) educations. “I was proud and nervous at the same time,” says Ballester, the only recipient who achieved a perfect 4.0 grade point average in her LRCC studies. “The Lakes Region Management Club Scholarship will be a big help next semester!” Ballester is pursuing the Accounting with Computer Applications Associate Degree.
Joining Ballester in receiving LRMC scholarships were Maxine Drakely (Effingham), Liberal Arts; Michelle Libby (Ashland), Office Technology Management; Ashley Chamberlain (E. Wakefield), GM-ASEP; Amy English (Franklin), Computer Technologies; Danielle Paquette (Meredith), Nursing; and Cheryl Miller (Franklin), Nursing. Standing are Jade Hann (Laconia), Business Management; Sandra Dunfey (Plymouth), Nursing; Heidi Barton (Alton), Nursing; Vanessa Cromwell (Gilford), Nursing; Scott Larose (Hudson), Fire Science; Ashley Nostrand (Bristol), Accounting; Cassi Loughlin (Meredith), Liberal Arts; Victoria DuPrie (Durham), Graphic Design; and Jessica Williams (Northfield), Business Management. LRMC scholarship recipients not present were Corinne Haigh (Dover), Nursing; Robin Hempel (Gilmanton Iron Works), Culinary Arts; Allen Irwin (Nashua), Marine Technology; and Sharon Stickney (Antrim), Nursing.
