Morrill, a Lakes Region Community College (LRCC) Restaurant Management student, volunteered to assist the 335 DECA secondary school students in their statewide competition. “The enthusiasm of the competitors was astonishing,” says Morrill. “I was amazed by students’ confidence, poise, and sheer hard work preparing for their competitive events. The 2009 DECA statewide convention is something I look forward to participating in next year.”
