Minihan won the NH SkillsUSA Automotive Service Technology competition at the postsecondary level held at Seacoast School of Technology in Exeter earlier this year. As a result, Minihan will represent LRCC at the National Leadership and Skills Conference in Kansas City, MO, June 19-24. Over 15,000 students, advisors, and business partners will be present from across the country. Minihan will be one of 5,600 students competing, hands-on, in trade, technical, and leadership fields.

"When it comes to the completion of a task, Adam has laser focus and is deadly accurate," says GM District Manager, Brady Jezewski (Chichester-not pictured), during LRCC's GM-ASEP Recognition Dinner where Minihan was awarded the 2011 GM-ASEP Leadership Award. "He has the ability to win the SkillsUSA national competition and I wish him well."

Auto Mall, Inc. and the NH Automobile Dealers Association each gave Minihan $500.00 to defray travel expenses for the national competition. "Adam has my respect as a GM technician, as well as the respect of his peers," says Carroll. "His performance has exceeded all expectations at Auto Mall, Inc."
