 Alex Ray Speaks at LRMC's February General Meeting

Photo: Alex Ray (Holderness-standing), founder of the Common Man family restaurants, explains his involvement with Hurricane Katrina Disaster Relief as he showed a video at LRMC’s February General Meeting last night that portrayed the suffering of Katrina victims. Ray’s mantra of “Doing Well by Doing Good” has contributed to 35 years of success growing from one restaurant to 13.  Over $100,000 raised by Ray’s establishments was given to Hurricane Katrina victims.

“Alex Ray is a unique individual,” says new Lakes Region Management Club (LRMC) member, Mark Edelstein (Laconia-seated left), with his wife, Susan (Laconia-seated right).  “He has done a great deal for this community and for other communities while at the same time running an extremely successful business.”  Edelstein is President of New Hampshire Community Technical College Laconia.
