(ASEP)Automotive Department, Michael Parker/Jamie Decato (Ext. 741) (2 Positions)
Duties: Assist in organizing the labs and storage areas. Reassemble ASEP vehicles and components. Diagnose and repair ASEP. Disassemble components for use in the SEP classes.
Qualifications: Must demonstrate initiative to identify work that should be performed based on the guidelines set forth by the supervisor. Must be able to lift 50 lbs follow instructions and able to work with hand tools.
Hours: Up to ten hours a week. Typically,
4:00 to 5:00 p.m. - Monday through Wednesday;
4:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Thursday;
1:00 to 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
 
 
Athletic Department, Scott Bryant (Ext. 746) (2 Positions)
Duties: Athletic field maintenance, Gym setup/game management, Sports equipment general care, score and clock keeping & some secretarial duties.
Qualifications: Knowledge of sports and general game management helpful.
Hours: Per practice & game schedules approximately 10 hours weekly.

Bennett Library, Cyndy Davis (Ext. 727) (4 Positions)
Duties: Checking out/in books and materials using computer, filing books, magazines, multimedia material, and shelf cards, assisting library patrons in computer lab, staffing circulation desk, other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: Ability to use computers, ability to read and to understand filing systems (alphabetical and numerical), ability to work independently, willingness to courteously assist library users. Detailed oriented and a team player.
Hours: 7:30am – 8:30 pm, 10 – 15 hours weekly, based on student’s schedule.

Duties: Typing documents, filing, processing papers/files.
Qualifications: Knowledge of Word & Excel would be helpful.

Duties: Typing, filing, assisting in large mailings, answering the phone and other office duties as necessary. Knowledge of Word and Excel is a plus.
Qualifications: Candidates should be organized and detail oriented. Enjoy working in an office serving students and the public in a professional and outgoing manner.
Confidentiality is a must.
Hours: Up to ten hours per week depending on student’s class schedule.

Duties: Maintaining, installing and upgrading software and hardware in the Computer Technologies computer labs. Trouble shooting printer problems. Some light filing and copying as needed.
Qualifications: Candidates should have good computer skills as well as organizational, critical thinking skills, and self sufficient.
Hours: Up to 10 hours per week depending on student’s class schedule.

Duties: To collect and organize the computer files for PHASTracks as well as help with editing duties.

Duties: Typing, filing, lifting small boxes, custodial services, copying and other related classroom and office duties.
Qualifications: Candidates must be organized and responsible. Candidates must also be dependable. Due to the nature of this position it is requested that the candidate be from this fire technology program.
Hours: Up to ten hours per week depending on student’s schedule.

Graphics Michael Place (Ext. 605) (1 Position)
Duties :Lab attendant will observe the graphics lab. Maintain the integrity and rules of the lab. Basic computer maintenance. Seeking out maintenance department to lock and unlock doors as needed.
Qualifications: Basic Apple computer skills and basic knowledge of Adobe CS3 software.
Hours: Tuesday & Thursday from 4-8 pm

Liberal Arts, Fran Seigle (Ext. 748) (1 Position)
Duties: Primary responsibility is grading/counting homework. Specifically, counting completed problems that have been submitted by my students. Attention to detail and ability to respect confidentiality is necessary. Also seasonal bulletin board preparation.
Qualifications: Must be a student in good standing who is very responsible and dependable. Accuracy and some creativity for bulletin boards.
Hours: Varies from 2 hours a week to 5 hours, depending on the amount of students in my classes, the number of classes that I have, and the particular week’s assignment load.

Duties: Receptionist duties as well as light secretarial duties such as typing and filing.
Qualifications: Some secretarial background, whether it be office work in high school, business courses in high school, office work in their background, some phone experience would be helpful, and some computer knowledge.

Dutie:;Performs routine custodial duties in maintaining a clean and attractive environment.  This position reports to the Plant Maintenance Engineer or the night Maintenance Supervisor.
Qualification Requires medium work, including continuous strenuous activities such as frequent reaching, bending, or lifting as well as performing work activities which require fine manual dexterity or coordination in operating machines or equipment.

Student Services, James Vander Hooven (Ext. 715) (1 Position)
Duties: Assist all student services staff in various roles. Be available on an as-needed basis for different departments. Walking guests to their desired location, introduce them to the appropriate staff member and assist in other ways necessary.
Qualifications: Must have strong interpersonal communication skills, be well-presented and professional attire. Strong desire to help others who are new to the College is a must. Computer skills a must. Should have some experience in researching topics of interest either by internet or through library database.

The Teaching, Learning & Career Center, Maureen Baldwin (Ext. 770) (5 Positions)
Duties: Students needed to tutor in computers and general studies. The students will have a log book to sign in and out and to keep track of their tutees.
Qualifications: Tutors would need a solid knowledge of how a computer works. This would be a basic knowledge of computers which is a level lower than Software Applications. Also, students who have evidenced success with General Studies subjects.
Hours: Five to fifteen hours per week.
