Lakes Region Community College is offering Efficiency Training Programs throughout New Hampshire. We are increasing the number of trained professionals to help homeowners save money, increase comfort and conserve our environment.

Our Efficiency Training Program is helping to build a network of trained energy professionals, which will lead to:

  bullet  More green jobs
  bullet  Lower energy bills
bullet  Improved occupant comfort and building durability
  bullet  Reduced environmental impact

Currently, LRCC, in partnership with Plymouth Area Renewable Energy Initiative, is providing a variety of short-term energy analyst and weatherization installer training programs including:

bullet  BPI Building Analyst and Envelope Professional training
bullet  BPI Air Sealing and Insulation Installer training
  bullet  Topic-oriented trainings and workshops
bullet  Boot Camps and Efficiency Intensive Certificate Programs

Students benefit from expert instructors, limited class size and discounted tuition. We also offer an efficiency equipment rental program and professional mentoring support for energy efficiency trainings.

Those who participate in the Efficiency Training Programs will become leaders in their field, receive hands-on training in real-life settings. Students who successfully complete each course have the option to become BPI (Building Performance Institute) certified. This certification is offered at the end of each course.

The Efficiency Training Program is made possible by a partnership between LRCC, the NH Division of Economic Development (DED), the Plymouth Area Renewable Energy Initiative (PAREI) and others. The ETP grant is funded by the Greenhouse Gas Emissions Reduction Fund (GHGERF) and administered by the NH Public Utilities Commission.
