New Athletic Directors @ LRCC

Photo: Lakes Region Community College (LRCC) Professor, Dave Pollak (Laconia-right), and College Counselor, William Miller (Franklin-left), will share the duties of upgrading the intercollegiate athletic program as athletic directors at LRCC.

As a future member of both the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) and the Yankee Small College Conference (YSCC) , LRCC will field teams in track & field, basketball, softball, cross-country, and golf. "With college enrollments increasing significantly, now is the ideal time to enhance LRCC's intercollegiate athletic program," says Miller, former National Small College Athletic Association (NSCAA) Commissioner. "Dave and I will field competitive teams and plan to have fun doing so."

Lakes Region CC will offer a variety of both intercollegiate and intramural sports for men and women. We recognize the value of providing athletic activities to give students the opportunity to interact outside the classroom.

Our main objective is to allow students the flexibility needed to properly balance their interest in athletics with academic success.

Activities may include soccer, basketball, baseball, softball, volleyball, golf, and skiing.
