Energy Services And Technology
The Energy Services and Technology Program (ESTP) and the Efficiency Training Program (ETP) provide three options that will enable you to gain the knowledge and skills you need to enter the rapidly expanding field of energy management.
Degree Option
Students in the two-year ESTP Associate degree program are prepared in the areas of energy fuels and consumption, energy efficiency, energy economics, electricity, heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC), technical communications, and computer sciences to optimize the sustainable production, delivery, and use of energy resources.
Certificate Option
As a BOC Approved Provider, qualified students in ESTP’s non-credit Energy Services certificate program can seamlessly earn the BOC certification. All ESTP students learn through extensive classroom and lab experiences.
Hands-on training is emphasized throughout the curriculum, in HVAC, climate control, thermal insulation, indoor air quality, and renewable energy principles and practices. Students train with the state-of-the-art Energy Simulator, and use the latest in instrumentation such as infrared thermal imagers, blower doors, combustion analyzers, data loggers, and more.
