Early Childhood Education Program Coordinator
Donna Magoon received her Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education from Hesser College, a Bachelors Degree in Child Studies from College of LIfe Long Learning and her Masters Degree in Elementary and Special Education from Plymouth State University. She owned and operated Cherished Moments Early Learning Center/Childcare for 5 years, and has taught for 16 years in the Franklin School District in New Hampshire and as an Adjunct Professor in Early Childhood Education and Teacher Preparation for 15 years .
In August 2016, Donna became Early Childhood Education Program Coordinator, replacing Janet Kibbee who was the coordinator for 15 years before retiring in 2016. She teaches Early Childhood Education courses each semester at LRCC and is academic advisor for all Early Childhood Education students.
Donna's current certifications include Principal, Special Education, Elementary K-8. She was a Teacher Trainer and Mentor in Special and General Education for Project Across and taught First Aid and CPR for the American Red Cross.
