Following the departure of Dr. Scott Kalicki as Lakes Region Community College’s President, we are pleased that Dr. Larissa Baia has been serving in the role of Interim President since July 2017.
Looking forward, the college would like to formalize its next President to begin the 18-19 Academic Year. As such, Chancellor Ross Gittell has appointed a 15-person search committee to help identify the next President of Lakes Region Community College. This search will be co-chaired by Kathy Bogle-Shields, Vice Chair of the CCSNH Board of Trustees, and Will Arvelo, Director of the Division of Economic Development for the State of New Hampshire and previously President of Great Bay Community College. The search committee’s diverse representation includes respected contributors and advocates for the college, including faculty, staff, business and community partners, and a current student leader.
Lakes Region Community College (LRCC) seeks a supportive and entrepreneurial leader to work with internal and external college stakeholders to leverage the finances of the college toward strategic goals, expand engagement with the region, build enrollment and infrastructure, and assure that college programs meet student and community needs. Interested applicants are invited to review the full leadership profile.
Applications will include a resume or curriculum vitae along with a letter of application outlining the candidate’s match to the criteria established in the leadership profile. All application materials are to be submitted online, and by March 31, 2018 for best consideration.
