LRCC Nurse Pinning
Photo: Lakes Region Community College (LRCC) Nursing graduate, Sarah Fissette (Franklin-right), tries to get her son, Kylan Fissette-Snow (Franklin-left), age 21 months, to look happy for the picture. Fissette had planned to have her son do the actual pinning based upon a number of successful attempts at home.
“Kylan became very shy with the huge number of people in attendance at the ceremony,” says Fissette who is presently working as a Licensed Practical Nurse at the New Hampshire Veterans Home in Tilton. “Oh well, kids will be kids!”
Fissette anticipates taking the State’s Nursing Board Exam to become a Registered Nurse having completed the week- long review session in Manchester. Assuming Fissette passes, she will be seeking employment in Pediatric Nursing in New Hampshire.
