The"build a technician" objective is an important service because:

• A labor pool for appliance repair technicians is non-existent, with an average age of current technicians 55 years old.
• The industry is presently in a "crisis" state because in the next 10 years, it will lose half of its work force.
• To make matters even worse, high schools and career counselors are not promoting Appliance Repair as a career alternative.
