Awarded the National Teacher of the Year Award for 2004.
Mr. Parker has worked as a technician since 1972 at which time he earned his first ASE certifications. He is currently ASE certified Master Technician in all eight areas and L1. He has a total of 19 years experience, twelve of which were in GM/SAAB dealerships. He has been teaching with GM-ASEP at Laconia since its start in 1991. He has also taught GM technicians as a contract instructor at the GM Training Center in Dedham Mass.

Notes:
Mr. Decato graduated from GM-ASEP at Laconia in 1996 at the top of his class.
He earned second place in the National VICA Skills contest that year in Kansas City.
He has earned a stellar reputation as a technician and educator since his graduation
from college. He has taught evening class to General Motors technicians through NH Community
Technical College and accepted the full-time position as the General Motors ASEP lead
instructor in May of 2002. Mr. Decato is an ASE Master Certified Technician in all eight areas and L1.
He maintains his GM and Chrysler Certifications.
